What We Do

Shadows specialises in arranging courses abroad for U.K. teachers / head teachers and courses in the UK for teachers / head teachers from abroad.

“Shadowing” involves a visiting teacher being attached as an assistant to a class teacher / head teacher. Course components may include language preparation, methodology and shadowing, with supportive tutorials, guided observations, observed teaching practice, directed tasks, team teaching and assignments.

Shadows expertise in obtaining European funding is available at no cost to schools and local authorities acting as hosts to visiting teachers

Shadows will, at no cost to the applicant teacher / head teacher:

• Advise on the most appropriate course / institution
• Assist with, and advise on, applications for E.U. funding
• Assist with enrolment to the chosen institution
• Coordinate group applications
